Safe in Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Thank you to everyone who is praying for our team and our trip. The weeks leading up to leaving have been really challenging, but our trip so far has been wonderful.

We have arrived safely in Costa Rica.  Our travel day yesterday was incredibly smooth.  We made it to LAX in record time and even checked in before the sun set.  We had a fun little shuttle ride between terminal 2 and 3 across the tarmac and experienced the newly remodeled Terminal 3.  Our flight from LA was delayed, but it was a smooth overnight flight to San Jose.  Some of us were able to sleep and others just passed the 5 1/2 hours with movies or activities.

Thankfully, all our bags arrived safely, but we realized on arrival that Pastor Darrel was diverted to Panama.  He was supposed to arrive earlier than us, but fog in San Jose caused his flight to divert.  He arrives this afternoon.

We checked into our hotel and enjoyed a hearty breakfast of gallo pinto, eggs, fruit, potatoes and pastries.  It was a welcome meal and now everyone is getting some much needed rest.  Tonight, we will organize all of our projects and make sure we have everything ready for our day tomorrow.
